In this class, you'll be exploring how to augment / replace acoustic kits recordings with MIDI information and samples, common practice in modern record production, particularly within certain genres of music, i.e. metal.
 

• You will learn how to do this in both Logic and Pro Tools 
   

• You'll be able to download audio files of a drum session to practice with
   

• You will also learn how to use portable recording equipment to capture your own drum sounds, creating a bespoke sampler instrument from these
   

• Through the above, you'll help develop muscle memory to help speed up your workflow when using either DAW
